Dr. Reese was born and raised in New Orleans and graduated from LSU Veterinary School in 1993 where he was at the top of his class. He worked at the New Orleans Zoo and the Henry Doorley Zoo in Omaha, NE. He moved to Texas in 1995 and began working at Caldwell Zoo here in Tyler. In 1999 he became an associate here at Whitehouse Veterinary Hospital and eventually bought the practice in 2003. Dr. Reese attends 20-30hours of continuing education each year to keep current on advances in veterinary medicine, including new treatments, diseases and surgical techniques.

Dr. Sudduth graduated from Mississippi State University in 2016 and went on to get her doctorate of veterinary medicine from LSU School of Veterinary Medicine, where she graduated this year, 2023! She loves exotics and learning new things. In her spare time she loves to cook, sew, and read. She has 5 pets: 2 dogs and 2 guinea pigs and 1 ferret. She is super excited to be a welcome addition to the team!

Raised in White Oak, Tx Dr. Wilcox is a native to Texas. She attended Texas A&M for her bachelors in Animal Science and afterwards attended St. Matthews on the beautiful island of Grand Cayman for her veterinary degree. Since graduation she has been practicing as a small animal veterinary in the East Texas area. She works with us a few days a week to give our Dr's a break from work, but owns her own mobile veterinary business, No Place Like Home. In her spare time she loves playing board games, and spending time her her husband Matt and their new corgi puppy, Dart.

Braydyn is a very passionate reptile enthusiast with a bachelors degree in molecular and cellular biology. She brings a great deal of knowledge about reptiles with her and is more than happy to share that with pet parents! She previously worked at Caldwell Zoo as their reptile keeper for 2 years and was looking for a change and we were lucky to be that change! She currently has her own personal reptile house and rescues end stage reptiles for hospice care. If you have any questions about reptile care, she's your go to person!

Frankie joined us in Nov. 2021 and brings years of knowledge with her as well as a bright and cheerful personality. She is a licensed veterinary technician and has a passion for animals of all kinds and loves to learn new things. Frankie's hobbies include Geocaching, Backpacking, Soap Making, and Kayaking

Cody has been a tech for 5 years and is certified in laser and swim therapy.  His passion for animals led him into the field of veterinary medicine as a technician and he keeps himself up to date on all the latest advances in vet tech education. When he’s not with us, he enjoys his time cooking, vacationing, and spending quality time with family and his fur baby, Zoe.

Stephanie Hassel, veterinary technician and canine whisperer. She is a mom of four kids and 6 fur-babies and has been working in animal rescue for over 5 years. She enjoys hiking and exploring with her family! She brings a lot of enthusiasm and fun to the team and makes a mean cup of coffee.

Mica joined us as a receptionist in 2009. She was born and raised in Dallas, TX, moving to Tyler a couple of years before she found her place in our hospital. She loves all of the furry children and even has some of her own! She spends her free time gaming, movie watching, and with her fur babies.

Stacia joined our team in 2015, bringing with her excellent customer care experience and an amazingly positive attitude. Her passion for animals brought her to us, and being from Whitehouse, working here made it a perfect fit. Stacia enjoys traveling and experiencing new adventures and keeps busy with her pet sitting business!

Meet Pam! She grooms those pretty pooches Monday through Thursday each week. Pam is full of energy and loves her job. She loves the lake, hunting, and spending time with her friends and family (furred and human alike).

Kenny has been with our team since the summer of 2020.  He is a very hard worker and is always ready to tackle any task brought before him. He enjoys spending his time sketching and helping his family foster dogs for a rescue organization in Portland, OR .

Colton has been with our team since June of 2019. He loves to help and really makes a connection with all the animals he comes in contact with. When Colton is not at work, he spends his time with his family, sketching, or playing video games.
